People need to know this place is here and it is AWESOME! Amazing beers, amazing vibe, amazing staff. Plenty of space to stretch out with a real CD jukebox, vintage arcade games, and a pool lounge in the back. Get in here ASAP and you won’t be disappointed!

Top 5 brewery in Colorado opens up a tap room in Denver on historic colfax!!! Yes please. If you like hazy’s and sours you must visit. And if you like beer throw some support during the difficult colfax renovations so we keep them here! Lots of great food in the area and you can even brewery hop down to Fiction Brewing or Aurora Cerebral…both amazing breweries in their own right.

This place is a hidden gem! I wish more people knew about it. Circular lounge brings a 70s/retro vibe to East Colfax. They have a working CD jukebox, pinball machines and a separate building that feels straight out of someone's 70s living room with pool tables, eclectic lighting and fun couches. All beer is from Knotted Root Brewing (a great brewery out of Nederland). I wish they had a few more options for drinks, but the bar itself is great!

This place is rad as hell—amazing beer (strawberry goo berliner weisse and excellent hazy ipas ), nostalgic 80s/90s vibe, pool tables, arcade games (TMNT pinball, cowabunga!), put put, jukebox, yummy snacks. New favorite spot, and we’ll definitely be back!

LOVE this place! I’ve been a fan of the beer for a while now & am so excited to have a place to visit in Denver. The spot is super cool, it’s giving dive bar. There’s pool, darts, an arcade, & a dog friendly patio too!

If you're heading to Knotted Roots Brewery and don’t sit at the bar with Kenny, you’re missing out on one of the best parts of the experience. Kenny is the kind of bartender you wish every brewery had—genuinely friendly, effortlessly attentive, and wildly knowledgeable about every beer on tap (and probably the ones that haven't even been brewed yet). He has an uncanny ability to read the room—knowing when to give you space to relax and when to engage you in conversation that somehow ranges from hops to history to hilarious local lore. His recommendations are always spot on. Whether you’re a die-hard IPA lover, a sour seeker, or just figuring out what you like, Kenny’s got you. He doesn’t just pour beer—he curates your whole visit with the kind of personal touch that turns casual customers into regulars. But what really sets Kenny apart is his genuine enthusiasm. He clearly loves what he does, and it shows in every pour, every smile, and every thoughtful interaction. Knotted Roots is lucky to have him, and if you stop in, do yourself a favor: grab a seat at the bar, let Kenny guide your tasting adventure.

For anyone who doesn’t know, Slashers is the rebrand of a previous bar, Horror Bar. Frankly, I’m loving the new theme. Fluorescent wall art and expanded seating really make the space fresher. They’ve got extra room in the back now with cozy sofa seating and the cocktails are still pretty banging. While I don’t love the overall red-tinted windows, I’m thrilled to see some familiar faces behind the bar because the people here really are what make it a good place to hang out at.

So excited for Knotted Root to have a presence in Denver. They've taken the former space and given it a Knotted Root, Nederland, laid back vibe. And it's much brigher! Great beer. Plus pizza!!
